Spirit Animal Mask Workshop & Live Raku Firing Demonstration
Pacific Northwest Sculptors will be hosting a "Make Your Spirit Animal Mask" workshop before the festival and live Raku firing demonstration during the festival.
This is a two-part event. Part one is the workshop before the festival, and part two is the live firing demonstrations of the masks created in the workshop.

About the Workshop
Part one of the event is the workshop, where the masks will be made before the firing event.
Workshop location is in Troutdale at 202 SE Dora Avenue at the Fairview Masonic Hall. There is limited parking behind the building and also street parking.
Workshop Dates
There are two separate workshop dates:

Friday April 17, 6:00pm - 8:00pm

Saturday April 18, 1:00pm - 3:00pm

About the Live Firing Demonstration

Part two is the live Raku demonstration, where the masks that were created during the workshop will be glazed and fired in a kiln at the festival.
The live firing demonstration takes place both days of festival until 2:00pm.
The live firing will take place at the intersection of Harlow Avenue and the Main street across from Artistree in Troutdale.

This will be the 4th year of PNWS demonstrating this collaborative community raku event "Your Spirit Animal Mask" with masks made by members of the Troutdale community, Mt. Hood Community College students and members of PNWS.
This workshop and event bring together a diverse group of members from the Troutdale community and members of the PNWS for the people of Troutdale and festival goers alike.
